Textiles

Several recycling points have also a recycling container for textiles. Here is a list of those recycling points that have a recycling container for textiles.

Usable textiles will be passed on through EkoCenter for a reuse and unusable ones will be sent off for further processing after the buttons and zips have been removed where they will be used to make, for example, upholstery materials and impregnation mats.

The following can also be placed for recycling in the recycling container for textiles:

	clothes
	footwear
	home textiles (e.g. bed sheets and towels)
	rags (broken clothes, shrunken woollens, etc.) NO dirty or damp textiles NO effete footwear

It would be a good idea to separate the textiles according to the above list into plastic or paper bags before placing them into recycling containers.

Larger quantities of textiles (e.g. estate of a deceased person, company textiles) should be taken directly to the recycling store Kierrätyskauppa EkoCenter.
