Glass

There must be a recycling bin for waste glass when there are a minimum of five households within the property. The community management will maintain recycling points for other homes in different areas of the city. From the links listed below can be found those recycling points in the areas according to the postal code, where there is a recycling bin for waste glass:
40100 40200 40250 40320 40340 40400
40500 40520 40530 40600 40630 40640
40660 40700 40720 40740 40900

The following can also be placed in the recycling bin for waste glass:

clear and coloured glass
glass ware and articles
glass bottles
preserving and baby food jars
NO porcelain, ceramics, crystal or stone
NO window, mirror or car windscreen glass
NO light bulbs or fluorescent tubes
NO heat resistant glass (e.g. oven ware)

The jars and bottles need to be rinsed out before taking them in to the recycling bin. The metal and plastic parts, lids and bottle tops must be removed. It is not necessary to remove the labels or bottle neck rings.

For example, heat insulators (fibreglass), new glass packaging, eco-tiling and window glass is produced from recycled glass.
