Electrical and electronics waste

There is a separate collection for the broken or otherwise unusable electrical and electronic items. Some of the items have toxic waste in them, like liquid crystal displays and refrigeration devices. All items will be dismantled and those materials that are either toxic or recyclable will be recovered from them. 

Places that take non-recyclable items are:

• Some stores selling electrical appliances will take the old one away when buying a new one

Usable appliances can be offered to the recycling centres
