Waste from Building, Demolishing and Dedecorating Work

Waste from building and redecorating work often includes a lot of recyclable material. Sorting it out is worth while, because it will reduce the waste taken to the dumping ground as well as the payable waste charge. Recyclable materials are, for example, wood, metal, cardboard, concrete, bricks and clean soil and rock materials.

Waste from building work can be avoided by good estimates and exactly calculated material needs. If, however, there is any surplus material or usable material coming from the demolishing work, they can be offered to the recycling centre. Recyclable building parts can be offered for sale by advertising in the newspapers or on the internet at, for example, www.rakennusluuppi.fi.
