THE NINTH ROUND of the World Rally Championship 2009 season, Neste Oil Rally Finland, will again be staged in and around Jyväskylä at the turn of July/August, 30.7.-2.8.
The event promises to offer both rally action and accompanying events to suit the whole family - everything from a Rally Show to Family World.
The very latest addition is the event area that will spring up alongside the Surkee special stage. In addition to providing an excellent vantage point for following the stage proceedings there will be services on hand for rally fans of all ages. The Flying Finn rally legend to be showcased this year is none other than world champion and seven-time Jyväskylä winner Hannu Mikkola.
In 2009 competitors will take on the famous Myhinpää special stage, which has been restored to the rally route after a break of some years. Defending the winner's title from 2008 - his first victory in Jyväskylä - will be France's Sebastian Loeb.
