The Saint Petersburg office of Jyväskylä Regional Development Company Jykes Oy has now been promoting the business affairs of Central Finland enterprises in Russia's second city for fifteen years. The office's 15th anniversary was celebrated in distinguished company in November 2008 both in Jyväskylä and Saint Petersburg itself. Thanks to the office's long history the Jyväskylä Region can claim to have had representation in Saint Petersburg for longer than any other region of Finland.
The tasks of the Saint Petersburg office include helping Central Finland enterprises to access the Russian market, promoting trade and forging new business contacts.
Through the office it is possible to obtain market research, oral and written translations and agree company presentations or meetings with the representatives of Russian companies and organisations.
