The Graphica Creativa Society
The Graphica Creativa was established in 1974. The aim of the society is to organize international print exhibitions in Jyväskylä. It also promotes international interaction in art and publishes books in printmaking. Since 1984 the society has given the Pro Graphica Prize to Finnish and foreign persons or instutions for their remarkable work in promoting printmaking. The members of the Graphica Creativa Society are the Alvar Aalto Society and the Association of Finnish Graphic Artists. In 1975-1996 the main organizer of the exhibitions was the Alvar Aalto Museum. Since 1998 the exhibitions have been held at the Jyväskylä Art Museum.
