Avesta

The building mass, which contained a wide range of different spaces in terms of purpose and form, is located around an internal courtyard in the same way as Säynätsalo Town Hall. The council chamber tower rises up above the rest of the building mass. The colonnades around the internal courtyard form a similar theme to the bands of window and the creeper supports that run round the courtyard at Säynätsalo, though at a larger scale.
