The upper secondary school approval procedure

The principals' meeting makes a proposal for choosing the students and the final decision is made by the Head of Educational Development. In the school of Normaalikoulu, the decision is made by the leading principal of Normaalikoulu. Information about acceptance is given in the middle of June. The information can also be seen from notices at the school doors. Those who are accepted receive a letter of admission and must confirm their intention to attend the school within two weeks. They also have to deliver a copy of their basic education's final report to the upper secondary school's office at the beginning of the school year.
