Immigrants’ pages are primarily aimed for those immigrants who have recently moved into Finland and especially to Jyväskylä region. Basic information of every day life that our experience has shown the need for during the first months and years has been collected into the pages. The pages also have links to other pages of which some are only in Finnish. Those pages are primarily meant for people who are already more advanced in their studies of Finnish language and in their knowledge of Finnish customs and the life in Finland. Even if you do not know Finnish yet, it is worth also for You to have a look at the main pages of the links. Sometimes you are met with a nice surprise there; some pages have been translated into your own language.
Please use our feedback form if you notice that some of the information on the pages needs updating or you wish otherwise to give us feedback. The pages have been translated into three different languages, English, Russian and Persian, by the time we have finished our work with the pages for this time.
